Edisms Revealed,
the Wit & Wisdom of Edward C. Hart
An Edism is something that
Ed Hart says that his wife Carrie thinks is funny enough, or wise enough, or
maybe just weird enough, to write down.
This first book of Edisms is a hard-bound gift book, illustrated on
each page, and containing the very best of the Edisms collected over the years.

You Are Psychic, by Pete A.
Sanders, Jr.
I had never been interested in psychic phenomenon before I read this
book. To give you an idea of how I felt about it, I actually hid this book
underneath a couple of novels on my way to the checkout stand.
But my feeling that I could trust my intuition had been growing over
the years, and this book explained what I have found to be true: that our intuition,
the thing we all have that is built into our language (gut feeling, vibes, I just knew) is
in fact our inherent psychic ability.
If you can accept that simple premise, then the rest is easy,
because this book explains simple techniques for calling up your intuition at will,
instead of just waiting for it to call out to you.

The
Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire, by Deepak Chopra
This excellent book addresses how to meditate, with a
focus on the fulfillment of desire.
If you are a Deepak Chopra fan, this will be one you will
want to add to your library.
The
Power of Now, by Eckhart Tolle
This book is going to be very expensive for me,
because every time I buy it for myself, I end up giving it away to a friend.
It is such a powerful book and wonderfully
consistent with the messages I have been receiving from Quado for years.
Read it!

How to
Know God, by Deepak Chopra
I am on my second reading of this book. On
the first reading, I enjoyed it. On the second reading, I loved it.
If you know yourself to be on a spiritual path, this book helps to identify and
clarify the steps on that journey.
Radical Healing, by Rudolph Ballantine, MD
I've discovered through my Quado experience that many, maybe most,
of the things I had been taught about life and how to live were not true. Radical
Healing shows you much the same thing with regard to medicine, health and
healing.
The
Gnostic Gospels, by Elaine Pagels
In 1945 an Egyptian peasant
unearthed the gospels of the Gnostics, a
persecuted Christian sect. This book presents an analysis of the Gnostic
gospels, an alternative to the New Testament which strikes a more eastern chord.
For example: "Jesus said, 'If you bring forth what is within you,
what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is
within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.'" It is
surprisingly readable and opens up an entirely new view of Christianity.
The Artist's Way, by Julia Cameron
This book has been very important in my life.
It started me on a habit of writing three stream-of-consciousness pages every
day, a surprisingly soothing and powerful exercise, which got me through
some very tough spots.
A warning: this book lays out a highly rigorous program of
self-exploration, and I've known some people who haven't made it through because it was
simply too much. I recommend that you do what I did: just read the book
through, and if you want to, do some of the exercises.
Autobiography
of a Yogi, by Paramahansa Yogananda
This is a fascinating book that I couldn't put down.
You somehow know that it is all very true, even as it challenges everything you
ever believed.
Creating Affluence, by Deepak
Chopra, MD
I love this little book. At first I thought it presented an
over-simplified view of things. Now I think we were all just taught an
overly-complicated view.

Quit
Kissing My Ashes, by Judy Collier
I know Judy Collier, and can testify that what
emanates from her is true faith and joy. This book is the remarkable story
of how the death of her only son led her to the sure and steadfast knowledge
that life does not end with death. If you are grieving, this book will
help.
